Setting Options will not only customize how ZCP3 works for you, but how it performs. Items in RED will slow performance in some way, while items in GREEN will speed up performance. The items are self-explanatory, but some notes follow:

• Cataloging Defaults control what happens at catalog time, and can be overrided at catalog time as well.
• It's recommended that you select Always use Zipcat Program Folder for your database location. If you need to keep your database files somewhere other than the program folder, use the tree list to select where they are.
• Make sure that you click the SAVE button after changing any options, otherwise, they will not be kept.
